Mission Church is a discipleship centered church family committed to making Jesus known and forming mature believers through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a people shaped by prayer, built on the Word, strengthened through authentic community, and commissioned to carry the Kingdom of God into everyday life. We are not gathering for information. We are being formed for transformation. Mission Church exists to build disciples who live like Christ and cause others to do the same.

We exist to make disciples who make disciples. This defines everything we do and why we exist. Our mission is not to build crowds, but to build people who carry the Gospel into every sphere of life, homes, workplaces, and communities. We believe discipleship is both our calling and our commission.

To see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ and the culture of discipleship. We envision a movement where the Gospel restores hearts, rebuilds families, and reshapes communities. Mission Church is a place where people encounter Jesus, grow in spiritual maturity, and are equipped to disciple others. In short, we build disciples who build people.

Our Pastors

Pastors Elisha and LaRonda Sumo lead Mission Church with a proven combination of spiritual depth, organizational leadership, and cultural intelligence. Together, they planted CDMC Atlanta in 2024, now Mission Church, carrying a clear mandate to build disciples through worship, structure, and Kingdom impact.

Pastor Elisha Sumo brings extensive experience in teaching, discipleship, and leadership development, having traveled throughout the country to equip pastors, leaders, and ministry teams through small group development, discipleship pathways, and leadership training. Alongside this pastoral work, his background in systems, media, and organizational leadership helps Mission Church operate with excellence, clarity, and relevance in today’s culture.

Lady LaRonda Sumo brings theological training, operational leadership, and discipleship expertise, ensuring the church is both spiritually formed and well ordered. Her work in church systems, nonprofit development, and leadership training provides a strong foundation for sustainable ministry growth.

Together, they shepherd Mission Church with a shared commitment to discipleship, integrity, and building people who carry the Kingdom of God into every sphere of life.
